The Wildlife Sanctuary

[September 3rd 2010 08:13:05 PM] Wildlife Education On Wednesday Sept 8 We will wrap up our guest appearances on UCTV's television show, Paws for a Moment on Channel 265. We have had the opportunity to present segments about the sanctuary, the Eastern Panther, Western Cougar, Bobcat, Canadian Lynx, North American Black Bears, with a special guest appearance by Chuck, our groundhog. We are now looking into other TV options to present wildlife education to a larger audience. In addition, we are creating a video for students schooled at home with a grant from Amicable EMC's Operation Round-up that will be released soon. The Wildlife Sanctuary has written teacher guides for all grades K-12 in line with the Georgia Performance Standards. We will be creating a library of video education materials on wildlife that we hope will be used in Georgia schools and even across the United States. You can watch the UCTV shows on You Tube about one month after they air live. We will announce when they are available on You Tube at our web site and in our newsletters.
